Speaking Out for Ukraine’s Jews

Since the fighting in Ukraine began around a year ago, The Fellowship has been helping the Jews in areas of fighting find safety and refuge. We have been providing Jews who have been “left behind” with the basic needs that they are so desperate for, and helping others move to Israel.

Every day, my father Rabbi Eckstein and I receive updates on the situation on the ground in Ukraine, and in the past few days the updates have been heartbreaking.

•     A bus in Ukraine was bombed right outside of a synagogue, where dozens of Jews were praying.


•     Two rockets landed on top of a Fellowship-supported aid building in Ukraine. Miraculously, they did not explode and only caused small damage to the building.


•     A Jewish woman who worked at a Fellowship-supported kindergarten in Ukraine was killed in the fighting this past week.

There are over 4,000 Jews living in the areas of fighting in Ukraine RIGHT NOW. Every single one of them needs our help with basic needs like food and heat, potential evacuation to safety, and Freedom Flights to Israel, so they can leave the biblical “land of the north” and begin their life anew in the Promised Land.

I just received an email from a Fellowship partner in Ukraine distributing our aid, and he wrote that “the fighting is unbearable, but it is not getting on the news. Over 20,000 people have been killed since the fighting began. The world is silent and no one is helping. It's only The Fellowship who is taking action to help these desperate Jews.”

My friends, don't turn a blind eye to these Jews who have suffered enough in the former Soviet Union during the Holocaust and Communism. Keep their plight alive and be their voice!
