Ukraine's Jews Struggle Amid Heightened Conflict

The Fellowship continues to help the Jewish communities in Ukraine – with aid on the ground, as well as with Freedom Flights to Israel – as the conflict there heightens once again. One of our partners in Ukraine had this to say about how the escalating conflict is affecting Ukrainian Jews, who are now more dependent than ever on the aid provided them by The Fellowship and our faithful supporters:

Of course, the latest escalation of the conflict impacts the lives of all Ukrainians. I think, taking into the account the new phase of war, the weak economy of Ukraine will be even more vulnerable.

The residents of the occupied territories have no liberty and human rights. Their lives are in the hands of the government.

About aliyah. The last week we had in our office more calls than always with requests to emigrate to Israel. I am sure the number of new olim will significantly increase soon.

I think considering the real escalation of the conflict, it is urgently needed to continue and even to strengthen all Fellowship support in Ukraine. Thanks to The Fellowship, members of the Jewish communities have survived over the past 2 years. Now we can't leave them alone.
