To The Fellowship,
I live in public housing and I just received your holiday food card in the amount of $85 (300 shekels). I was surprised and pleased by your blessed initiative in which you seek out the brokenhearted and bring them charity. I was very impressed and overjoyed to see the pleasantness of God and how you are a living example of wonderful people who give and take care of those in need.
As it is written (Psalms 118:22): “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” Whoever wants to build the world tries to uplift the desolate and lift them from their “corner.” The word “corner” (in Hebrew) is an acronym for “the one who opens will open, the one who gives will give, and the great one will grant.”
Thank you very much for your help and for the satisfaction you have provided through this unexpected holiday gift!
May it be, thanks to The Fellowship's charity, that God will look down upon Israel with a kind eye and judge us with merit, grace and mercy, on this and every Rosh Hashanah.
May God bless you with strength and funds to continue giving to those in need in the years to come.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Vered
