While a move to the Holy Land – and an escape from lands of anti-Semitism, violence, and poverty – may sound exciting, it is still a move, and can be intimidating for new olim (immigrants to Israel). Speaking to a group of olim recently, I shared my own story of aliyah, while assuring these children of God that they are part of the Fellowship family and can always count on The Fellowship and our faithful friends for assistance.
