Holocaust Survivors Finally Celebrate their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
November 20, 2017
Shalom,
Recently, 80 Holocaust Survivors celebrated their bar and bat mitzvahs for the first time, in Jerusalem. Usually this happens when you turn 13, but at that age they were running from the Nazis. Watch them dance with all their hearts on this magical day. I cried as I realized they were dancing for the 1-million children killed by the Nazi’s, who never got to dance at their bar or bat mitzvahs.
“The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad” (Psalm 118:24).
