“Now you can make a delicious topping for the Potato Latke recipe we shared with you over the weekend!”

Over the weekend, we shared with you several delicious recipes that you can use during Hanukkah, one of them being the Potato Latkes. And now you can make a sweet topping to serve along with your deliciously fried latkes.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 tsp crystallized ginger, chopped
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup
1/2 tsp ginger powder
2 bosc pears, unpeeled and roughly chopped

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring regularly until the pears soften and soak up the fragrant liquid, about 8 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
