A Red Carpet Welcome for New Olim

“This was an aliyah process that fully lived up to its name: 'Red Carpet Aliyah'”

In December we hosted a Hanukkah candle-lighting ceremony for recent olim (immigrants) to Israel. One of them wrote the following thank-you letter:

“You are really wonderful. This was an aliyah process that fully lived up to its name: 'Red Carpet Aliyah.’

“You knew how to focus me, to be at my side, to encourage me when necessary, and to lead me to the realization of my dream. You did all this with phenomenal conditions.

“Thanks to you, all of the olim connected as a real family. The two days we spent with you were to me like being born anew. There was so much excitement, happiness, tears of joy, and pride!

“Making aliyah to Israel during the Hanukkah holiday is a dual symbol of both the miracle and the light.

“As of now, my life has been divided into two parts: What was before and what will be after. I will never be able to thank you enough for these amazing moments.”

Help us roll out the red carpet for more Jewish families making aliyah by visiting here.
