Canadian Poet Inspiring Others to Give to The Fellowship

Proceeds from book sales will be donated to IFCJ Canada

Visiting the Holy Land has inspired so many – inspired them to give, inspired them to create. In the case of Canadian poet Heather Thorpe, a trip to Israel did both. The Journal Pioneer's Destree Anstey brings us Ms. Thorpe's story, which not only inspired her to write a book of poetry, but to help God's people through her efforts:

After an inspiring trip to the Holy Land, Thorpe, from Summerside, felt called to write poetry.

Proceeds from book sales will be donated to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada (IFCJ Canada) to help Jewish immigrants return to their biblical homeland.

“The Fellowship is the largest Christian funded organization providing basic humanitarian aid like food, clothing, medicines, and heating relief,” said Thorpe. “It supports the Israeli elderly, children and families in need, as well as Jews living in the former Soviet Union.”
