Last week, surprise roses from my husband were waiting on our dinner table at the local restaurant. The gesture was more meaningful than anything else in the world he could have done.

People used to joke at weddings that “it’s only downhill from here,” but after 13 years of marriage, I can honestly say to brides and grooms, “it’s good now, but it only gets better”

“Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one's house for love, it would be utterly scorned” (Song of Solomon 8:7).
