As people join in prayer for the Jewish people facing war in Ukraine, IFCJ Canada is working to help them find safety. CBN’s Emily Jones reports on the measures being taken to help the thousands of Jews in Ukraine looking to make aliyah (immigrate to Israel):

Thousands of Ukrainian Jews are considering making Israel their home as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues to threaten millions of lives.

The Jewish Agency, an organization that helps Jews immigrate to Israel, has partnered with The Fellowship to help Ukrainian Jews flee the war. Last week, the two organizations established a joint emergency hotline to help Ukrainian Jews navigate the dangerous road to Israel.

The agency announced on Sunday that more than 5,000 people called the hotline seeking information about immigrating to Israel — also known as making aliyah. More than 50% of callers were seeking to move to Israel “immediately…”
