Why We Must Never Forget the Holocaust

April 28 is Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, when Israelis and Jews around the world honour the six million souls who perished at the hands of the Nazis with solemn ceremonies and a nationwide moment of silence. In the aftermath of the Holocaust, the Jewish people vowed, “Never forget.”

Yet, as Yael and her special guest Elisha Wiesel discuss, an alarming number of adults today know nothing about the Holocaust. Elisha brings a unique perspective to the conversation as the only son of Elie Wiesel — Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Holocaust survivor, and author of Night, his renowned memoir of surviving the Nazi death camps.

Listen now as Yael and Elisha Wiesel discuss his father’s legacy of bringing light to the darkest places in our world.

With blessings from the Holy Land,
