Pray with Us

In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling. (Exodus 15:13)

Soon the Jewish people will observe Passover, a holy time to remember the story of the Exodus and the important principles of faith, prayer, deliverance, freedom, and service to God. The suffering the Jewish people went through in biblical times and the freedom they found from their faith in God reminds all people of faith how God protects us. He deeply loves us, and He answers our prayers. As we turn to God this week in prayer, let us take comfort that He is listening.

  • As attacks on Israel are underway from Iran, pray that God will protect Israel and her people in their time of need. “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me” (Psalm 138:7).
  • After six months of conflict, Israel is still at war. Pray for the wisdom of leaders to bring about peace in the Middle East. “Rescue me from my enemies, LORD, for I hide myself in you” (Psalm 143:9).
  • As spring arrives, so too do our preparations to provide Passover necessities to needy and impoverished Jewish elderly and families throughout Israel and the former Soviet Union. Pray that we will be able to provide for every one of God’s children during this sacred season. “In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed” (Exodus 15:13).
  • Praise God the good work of IFCJ Canada continues! Very soon new olim (immigrants) will make aliyah (immigration to Israel) thanks to the generosity of supporters like you. “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze” (Isaiah 43:2).
  • Pray that the Israel-Hamas war will end soon, and that this new season of spring will bring new hope. “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
